At Astitva Tea Tribe Youth Foundation and Barak Tea Welfare Society, we believe in the untapped potential within the Tea Tribe community. Barak Tea Premier League (BTPL) is not just a cricket tournament, it is a platform to give deserving young talent the chance to shine, to chase their dreams, and to prove their worth. Many talented players in the Tea Gardens remain unseen, but BTPL aims to change that narrative. We want to offer these players the recognition they deserve and the opportunity to play on bigger stages. This is more than a game – it’s a movement that empowers, inspires, and opens doors for the future. Every match played, every run scored, and every wicket taken is a testament to the dreams of these players and their communities. Through BTPL, we hope to uplift, motivate, and shape the future of cricket in Barak Valley and beyond.

Terms and Conditions – Barak Tea Premier League (BTPL)

1.⁠ ⁠Eligibility Criteria:

All participants must provide valid identity proof (Aadhaar Card or equivalent).
Players must register with accurate information; any false details will result in disqualification.
Playing XI can include up to 4 Non-Tea Tribe players.
2.⁠ ⁠Registration Rules:

The registration fee is ₹149 for players.
Registration will only be accepted after successful payment confirmation.
Payment once made is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Players must upload a recent passport-size photograph and required documents during registration.
3.⁠ ⁠Auction & Team Selection:

Players will be part of the auction process after successful registration.
Franchise owners can bid for a maximum of 20 players, with no more than 6 Non-Tea Tribe players.
Final playing XI must comply with BTPL’s rule of having only 4 Non-Tea Tribe players.
4.⁠ ⁠Code of Conduct:

All players and franchise owners are expected to maintain sportsmanlike behavior.
Any act of indiscipline, misconduct, or violence will result in immediate expulsion.
The decision of the BTPL Committee will be final and binding.
5.⁠ ⁠Match Rules:

Matches will be played with a tennis ball in a 15-over format.
Players must wear proper cricket attire as specified by the tournament organizers.
Umpire decisions are final and cannot be challenged.
6.⁠ ⁠Injuries & Liabilities:

BTPL organizers will not be held responsible for any injuries, accidents, or losses incurred during the tournament.
Players are encouraged to take adequate precautions for their safety.
7.⁠ ⁠Media & Promotion:

By participating, players consent to the use of their photos, videos, and names for BTPL promotion on digital and print platforms.
Media rights and content will remain the sole property of BTPL organizers.
8.⁠ ⁠Changes & Cancellations:

BTPL Committee reserves the right to make changes to the schedule, rules, or any aspect of the tournament.
In case of unforeseen circumstances, matches may be rescheduled or canceled at the discretion of the organizers.
9.⁠ ⁠Privacy Policy:

Personal information collected during registration will be kept confidential and used only for official tournament purposes.

By registering for BTPL, all participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with any of the above rules may result in strict action, including disqualification.

Terms and Conditions for Player Registration – Barak Tea Premier League (BTPL)

Eligibility for Registration:

Players must be above 16 years of age at the time of registration.
All players must submit a valid Aadhaar Card or equivalent identity proof for age and address verification.
Registration is open for both Tea Tribe and Non-Tea Tribe players.
Player Categories:

Maximum of 6 Non-Tea Tribe players can be part of a franchise team during the auction.
In the final Playing XI, only 4 Non-Tea Tribe players are allowed.
Registration Fee:

A non-refundable registration fee of ₹149 is mandatory for each player.
Registration will only be confirmed after successful payment.
Documents Required:

Recent passport-sized photograph (in JPEG/PNG format).
Scanned copy of Aadhaar Card or any government-issued ID.
Optional: Player’s past cricket experience certificates, if available.
Registration Process:

All registrations will take place online through the official BTPL website.
Players must provide accurate details such as:
Full Name
Age and Date of Birth
Contact Number
Email ID (if available)
Address
Player Category (Tea Tribe / Non-Tea Tribe)
Incomplete forms or false information will result in disqualification.
Selection Process:

Registered players will enter the BTPL Auction Pool.
Franchise owners will have the opportunity to bid for up to 20 players.
Once a player is selected by a franchise, they cannot switch teams.
Code of Conduct:

All registered players must adhere to a strict code of discipline and sportsmanship.
Misconduct, abusive language, or indiscipline on or off the field will result in expulsion from the tournament.
Match Rules & Participation:

Players must comply with match timings and report as per the schedule provided by the organizing committee.
Proper cricket attire must be worn during matches.
Players must follow all tournament rules and umpire decisions.
Health and Safety:

Players are responsible for their own safety and well-being during the tournament.
BTPL organizers will not be liable for any injuries, accidents, or health issues.
Media Consent:

By registering, players give consent to BTPL organizers to use their names, photos, and videos for promotional purposes across social media, websites, and print media.
Privacy Policy:

Personal information provided during registration will be kept confidential and used solely for tournament-related activities.
Final Decision:

The BTPL Committee reserves the right to make changes to the rules, schedule, or player participation if necessary.
All decisions made by the organizers and match officials will be final and binding.
